El Donnti (SOLD)

2009 KWPN
Chestnut  15.3 Hands

Here's a fun, willing young dressage prospect. With three good gaits, a natural rhythm, and a super character, we think El Donnti will be an easy young horse to develop. While he was only started under saddle early this summer, Donnti is confidently working at all three gaits and will be ready to show late this fall.

His sire, Contucci (Caprimond-Lungau-Akzent II), won the dressage portion of his 100-day test with an impressive 147.11, earning six 9's throughout the testing for character, willingness to work, and rideability, as well as his trot and canter. Contucci was named the 2005 USEF Dressage Breeding Sire of the Year and the 2009 USEF Dressage Sire of the Year and his offspring are successfully competing from Training through FEI levels with amateur, junior, and professional riders. Three Reserve Champions of Dressage at Devon have been sired by Contucci as well as the 2008 and 2011 Devon Foal Champions.

El Donnti is out of Prima Donna, a direct daughter of Donnerhall. Prima Donna earned her Sport Predicate in Holland prior to beginning her breeding career. Her oldest offspring is winning at Fourth Level and preparing for his FEI debut. All of Prima Donna's offspring have been easy to train and enjoy their work.

El Donnti is sound with no vices and is very easy to work around. He is sensible and uncomplicated to train and would do fine with an amateur rider despite his young age.

Congratulations to Nicolette Halsey of South Egremont, Maine.

UPDATE: July, 2013
El Donnti is competing successfully at Training and First Level.
